Our founders Liz and Dean Schear, and Annette and David Aguilar, have years of healthcare and business experience.
Founded in 2012, Roswell Family Care was started with the vision of creating a medical practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The medical and office staff at Roswell Family Care are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting a medical office can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate medical professionals will ease your fears.

Our Background
Mary Ramos earned her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. She has previous experience working in emergency nursing. She has lived in Roswell since 2004. She is bilingual, and is passionate about helping each of her patients.

Gina Vela, CNP
Annette Aguilar earned her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque in 2003. She was born and raised in Carlsbad, NM and after marrying David, they returned to Roswell. She continually offers exceptional care for the Roswell community.
Gina Vela earned her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Tech University in 2018 and she is currently working on her Doctorate at Chamberlain University. Her previous nursing background includes Trauma & Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, and Med/Surg. Like the rest of the providers, she is bilingual and enjoys providing compassionate care to her patients.

We are currently open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, closed daily from 1pm-2pm for lunch. If you need any medical assistance you can visit as a walk-in patient to our office.
David Aguilar earned his Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque in 2005. He was born and raised in Roswell, NM, and loves serving his community.
Roswell Family Care is the premier walk-in clinic in southeastern New Mexico. We specialize in providing care for children, adults, and seniors. Roswell Family Care understands the need for consistent care. We treat each patient like family. Our compassionate, professional staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible. Because we are locally owned, we are patient driven. This means that we can focus more on providing excellent care, and less on the bottom line. We are not tied to any large medical corporation. We provide effective care that is responsive to the needs of the community of Roswell and the southeastern part of the state. Being provider owned means that our providers are able to focus on you!
